Suggested prerequisites: Basic concepts of measurement, functional elements of instruments. Statistical analysis, Chi-square test, least squares method. Uncertainty analysis.
Aims: he aim of the module is to provide the students with a specialist knowledge of methodologies and measurement instrumentation for automation and testing in industrial applications.
Contents:Fundamentals of measurements for automation requirements in modern industry. Architecture of modern automated measurement systems. Sensors and sensor conditioning techniques. Fundamentals of data acquisition.
Laboratory activities: Labview basics. Realization of an automated measurement systems for industrial applications.
